Spesific Information  Çoruh River is one of the ten rivers in the world that is suitable for rafting. The biggest reason for its high standards is the 350-km-long way that it covers from its spring (3500 m) until it reaches the Black Sea (0 m).

Here are splendid canyons, magnificently flowing rivers, adrenalin, rice fields, productive fruit gardens, brown bears, historical Georgian churches and castles, peaks covered up with snow, waterfalls formed in riverbeds, speed, motion and the dancers presenting their traditional shows with the sound of bag pipe are all varied.

Although the region is undeveloped in terms of tourism, the local people who are very friendly and hospitable enliven our tour considerably. Camping at nights will become a passion as it often does in long river trips. We're going to find out more about the Georgian priests living at an attitude of 1800 m, when we go trekking on Dogu Karadeniz Mountains. It will definitely be an unforgettable experience for you.

Çoruh River, which is found on Turkey's Black Sea Coast, in the east of the region and flows down from the Mountain Kaçkar, is one of the ten best rivers in the world for rafting. With its tracks, that have 5 different difficulty levels, it is considered an ideal river for the "white water raft" from mid-May till the end of August. Especially in the region between Ispir-Yusufeli, many international competitions and 5-day-long expeditions are arranged.

As the river flows speedily under you, the only thing a rafter may do is to keep his head straight trying not to capsize and hit the rocks. Rafting can be defined as the art of standing in a river, which has slopes as the human life and flows fast and slow at times.

As valleys and canyons are being passed, some harsh turns may come across… Sometimes there are laps that are very difficult to pass over. You can't see ahead, the dangers waiting for you… You may capsize in whirlpools… Sometimes fear and sometimes bravery becomes more dominant in your body. When you're in the river, you can't stop all of a sudden and tell that you want to get off, just like you can't give up your life all at once. River takes the person away, just like the life itself…

The skillful rafters who follow all the instructions or the rafters who have found an appropriate guide will have the chance of attaining the inert water after having a hard time in the exuberant one. Thus, the experience embroiders the memory with success.

Located in the southeast of Black Sea, Small Caucasus, Pontus Alps or with a better-known name Mountain Kaçkar is worth seeing with its amazingly rich nature, different species of animals and the appealing culture, daily life and native people. During your trip, which starts at Kaçkar's south slopes and proceeds to the north slopes, you will have the chance of following the native people's way to the plateaus, reaching the exhibition of nature's beauty and then ending high up in Mountain Kaçkar, which is the highest peak of those mountains.

You will experience an unforgettable trip with the unique culture and the tempting daily life colored with every single tone of green.
