KAVALA - PHILIPPI - THESSALONIKI - VERIA - METEORA - DELPHI -
ATHENS - CORINTH - MYCENAE - EPIDAURUS
1ST DAY: We
pick you up from the Turkish - Greek borders and drive you to
Kavala. There we visit the archaeological site of Philippi and the
Church of Lydia. We stay overnight in Kavala.
2ND DAY: We
depart from Kavala to Thessaloniki. There we take the city tour and
stay overnight.
3RD DAY: In
the morning we continue our tour by visiting Veria. The Apostle Paul
arrived here and according to the custom went to the Synagogue where
he discovered that these Jews were “more noble” than those he had
encountered in Thessaloniki.
4TH DAY: In
the morning we enjoy sightseeing tour in Thessaloniki. Then we
depart to Kalambaka where we stay overnight.
5TH DAY: In
the morning we visit the monasteries built in the 14th century.
After our visit we depart to Delphi and visit the archaeological
site. In the evening we depart to Athens where we stay overnight.
6TH DAY: Out
travel continues with a daily excursion to Corinth, Mycenae and
Epidaurus. It was Corinth where the Apostle Paul lived and preached
for a year and a half, and to this church he wrote two of his new
Testament Letters.
7TH DAY: In
the morning we enjoy sightseeing tour in Athens, including Acropolis
and the famous Parthenon and Erechtheum. Then we go to nearby Mars
Hill Areopagus where the Apostle Paul delivered his soulstirring
sermon to the giants of philosophy, logic and learning. Our tour
continues with the highlights of modern Athens.
8TH DAY:
After breakfast we are transferred to the airport for departure. |
