DAY: Arrival in Athens Airport. Transfer by our representative
in Hotel.
2ND DAY:
After breakfast full sightseeing in Athens, including visit to the
Acropolis, Parthenon, Erechtheum, Acropolis Museum, also passing by
the Parliament House, the Presidential Palace, the Panathenian
Stadium, the Temple of Olympian Zeus. Afternoon leisure.
3RD DAY:
Leisure in Athens or optional one-day cruise to the Greek islands of
Aegina – Poros – Hydra, with lunch on board the ship. Overnight in
Athens.
4TH DAY:
After breakfast we depart for Ancient Corinth, passing by the
Corinthian Canal, and will continue our historical journey to
Mycenae. Then we visit the city of Nafplio, the first capital of
Modern Greece, and afterwards we arrive in Epidaurus. We will see
the best-preserved ancient theatre in Greece. Drive through the
coastal national way, arrival in Olympia.
5TH DAY:
After breakfast visit to the archaeological site and the museum.
Drive via Patras to Rion, where we cross by car-ferry to Antirrion,
then drive through Nafpaktos, arrival in Delphi.
6TH DAY:
After breakfast visit to the archaeological site and the museum.
Drive through the cities of Trikala and Larissa to the famous,
sacred Makedonian town of Dion. Then we continue to Thessaloniki.
7TH DAY:
After breakfast visit to the archaeological museum with its fabulous
Vergina treasures, the Byzantine churches and the Roman ruins. Free
afternoon for shopping or leisure.
8TH DAY:
Departure from Thessaloniki Airport “Makedonia”. |
