Itinerary: |

DAY 1
: Meet at Trabzon Airport, transfer to hotel, welcome cocktail and
briefing, dinner & O/N in Trabzon,
DAY 2 : A short
drive will take us to Altindere Valley National Park, to see the
4th. C. Monastery of Sumela, clings to a sheer cliff face in a deep
forest, visit Vazelon Monastery, stands on a rock overlooking the
Pyxites ( Degirmendere ), dinner & O/N in Zigana Holiday Village,
DAY 3 : Depart for
Gümüshane, visit Karaca Cave with its colourful formations on the
way, old Gümüshane ( Argropolis ) and fortresses, old Greek villages,
dinner & O/N in Gümüshane,
DAY 4 : Depart for
Imera and Grom, ancient Greek settlements on south slopes of Zigana
Mountains, travel up to the peaks and reach Camibogazi , dinner &
O/N in Camibogazi Plateau,
DAY 5 : Walking to
Çakirgöl ( a glacier lake on the peaks of Zigana Mountains )
visiting to Santa Ruins, drive to Trabzon via Yanbolu, Arsin, dinner
& O/N in Trabzon,
DAY 6 : A halfday
tour to Trabzon Castle and, Ortahisar Mosque ( Panagia
Chrysocephalos ), Yeni Cuma Mosque ( St. Eugenius Church ), enjoy
the panorama on Boztepe, return to city centre and free time to shop
in Trabzon's old markets, transfer to Trabzon Airport for a
homebound flight.... |
