Day 1
- IZMIR or KUSADASI - EPHESUS
Departure from IZMIR or KUSADASI, drive to EPHESUS, the best
preserved and restored ancient city you have ever seen: visit the
ancient city of Ephesus, after lunch visit the House of Virgin Mary,
the Museum of SELÇUK, continue to Pamukkale; overnight. (L)
Day 2 - PAMUKKALE
- ANTALYA
Visit Pamukkale, beautiful and spectacular natural site, unique in
the world with the fairylike, dazzling white, patrified cascade.
There you will see the thermal spring water laden with clacareous
salt, plunging down the mountain-side has created this natural
formation of stalactites, cataracts and basins. The thermal water
has been used since the Roman period for the therapeutic powers. You
will visit the Roman city of HIERAPOLIS with the impressive
NECROPOLIS and 4th century Bazilica converted from a Roman bath, the
Theatre. (L) Continue to Antalya; drop to the hotel or port. |
