Day 1
- IZMIR - EPHESUS-KUŞADASI
Greeted upon arrival at the airport by our professional tour guide,
we drive to SELÇUK, visit the Shrine of Virgin MARY, ruins of
EPHESUS; after lunch Museum of Selçuk; overnight in Selçuk (or
Kusadasi). (L)
Day 2 - KUŞADASI-PAMUKKALE
Through green Meander valley with thousands of fig trees drive to
PAMUKKALE (cotton castle) with its wonderful formations of
stalacties, ancient city HIERAPOLIS with its Necropolis & Theatre.
Overnight in PAMUKKALE. (L)
Day 3 - PAMUKKALE-KONYA - CAPPADOCIA
Departure will be early in the morning for KONYA, visit the
Mausoleum of MEVLANA (Whirling Derwishes who are the Philosophers of
Islam); continue to CAPPADOCIA for overnight. (L)
Day 4 - CAPPADOCIA
Full day tour in CAPPADOCIA including the valleys of GÖREME & ZELVE,
one of the underground cities DERINKUYU (or KAYMAKLI), lunch in area,
see ORTAHISAR & AVANOS. Overnight. (L)
Day 5 - CAPPADOCIA - ANKARA
After breakfast drive to Ankara, visit the Hittite Museum and
Mausoleum of ATATÜRK. Drop to the airport. (L)
